Volunteer Opportunities

Prestonwood Christian Academy values our partnership with families and encourages parents, grandparents and alumni to be active members of our community. Volunteering is a great way to stay involved in what is happening at PCA, and we are grateful to have volunteers who are willing to serve our faculty, staff and students.

Parent Teacher Fellowship - Supports staff, families and students by providing funds and volunteers for classroom, grade level and schoolwide events.

Friends of the Library - Promotes reading and carries out projects and functions that enrich PCA libraries.

PCA Prays – Prayer ministry open to parents, grandparents and staff to pray in one accord for our school.

Lion’s Den Booster Club – Promotes PCA Athletes among parents, alumni and friends including those finically supporting PCA Athletics.

Fine Arts Council – Advances the PCA Arts and promotes fine arts events at PCA.

World Impact Team – Advances greater awareness and involvement in local and global short-term missions at PCA, includes Boosterthon Fun Run for student mission trips and World Impact Day.

Learning Lab Partners – Parents and friends of PCA’s learning lab, which assists students with learning differences. Volunteers assist staff with parent meetings, fundraising and communications among parents.

Dads on Demand - designed to create opportunities for Dads to share their talents while serving at all Prestonwood Christian Academy campuses. These volunteer opportunities will benefit the school while providing an opportunity for Dads to find community.

I would like to volunteer in these schoolwide opportunities:

Events – Back to School Day, North Texas Giving Day, Zig Ziglar Servant Leadership Award Banquet.

Alumni Events – Homecoming, Christmas Party, etc.

Levi's Locker Spirit Store – Assist in sorting new inventory and working the cash register.

Family Ministry – Assisting Campus Ministries with collecting gift cards/meals/donations for families.

I would like to help with the following areas of Academics:

STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Math

Speech Meet (judge)

Math Olympics (coach, meet volunteers)

Stand Up and Be Heard (assist with recording/critiques)
