Hours of Operation
Extended Day for Pre-Kindergarten through 8th.
Begins after school and ends as late as 6:00 p.m.
Extended Day will not be offered on days when school is not in session including inclement weather days. Extended Day will be offered on all school days for enrolled students of PCA. It will be offered on In-Service days for enrolled students of staff only.
Monthly Extended Day charges are based on actual school days. Holidays, Breaks and Early Release are not included. Extended Day will be offered to enrolled students of PCA for Early Release Days by reservation only. Early Release days will be offered from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m., for a fee of $65. Extended Day will be offered on In-Service days for enrolled students of staff only.
Middle School:
Extended Day will not be offered for 7th & 8th grade students during Finals week(s). Extended Day will be offered for 5th & 6th grade as part of the monthly fee for that month (no additional charge.)
Prestonwood Christian Academy's Extended Day Program is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for children - a place where play encourages children to make friends, to share thoughts and ideas, or to spend time with caring adults.
Extended Day's main asset is its qualified staff. We are fortunate to have warm and caring teachers who are committed to our students. These professionals provide the highest quality care by demonstrating enthusiasm, warmth, and respect for the students. For many children and their parents, Extended Day has become the new neighborhood. It is here that many of their childhood experiences will be built. It is our mission to do everything we can to enhance those experiences and enrich our student's lives.
Policies and Expectations
The policies and expectations for student discipline as stated in the PCA Student/Parent Handbook will be enforced. All consequences for disciplinary issues will follow the same progression as outlined in the student discipline policy; including a day's suspension from the Extended Care program.
